Unit 4: Independent Novel
During the unit you will learn about the steps in the research process: identifying a topic, conducting preliminary research, developing your topic (ask questions), locating materials, evaluating your sources, conducting deep research, recording notes, and presenting your findings in a clear and engaging way. You will select a topic from one of the "independent reading" novels you've read throughout the semester and create a research project about it, which you will present to the class. |
